For the benefit of the Commies in the Peoples Republic of Oregon, (as well as the
Commies in the Peoples Republic of California and the Peoples Republic of Washington
State) the fourth of July is Independence Day in the United State of America.

Independence Day honors the birthday of the United States of America and the adoption
of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. This event created the first
truly free Country Planet Earth has ever had. A country where life, liberty and
the pursuit of happiness is (or at least was) guaranteed in our Constitution.

It's a day of picnics and patriotic parades, a night of concerts and fireworks, and
a reason to fly the American flag. The 4th of July is a celebration of America and
a time for Americans to be especially proud and thankful that they are Americans.

In case it slipped your mind, Kitty Piercy, Mayor of Eugene, (and your whole
motley crew of anti-American City Council whack jobs) Government Officials who
think that the Pledge of Allegiance is the same as the Communist Manifesto, here's
the partial cost of lives given so that you can live in a Country that lets you act
like idiots and even hold public office. Pull your crap in the Peoples Republic of
China, a Country that has a form of government that you admire and adore, and your
butt would be in a "retraining camp" quicker than you can sing the Iranian National
Anthem.

How you and your fellow travelers in Multnomah County and Portland City Government
manage to keep getting re-elected is a mystery to me. Doesn't say much for the
intelligence of the voters in those areas, does it? It's no wonder people from
Eastern Oregon despise people from Portland to Eugene. I do too. When I travel
I say I am from New Hampshire, the Live Free Or Die State... I have nothing, and I
mean NOTHING in common with these freedom hating, dope smoking, brain dead "Liberal"
nit-wits.

The Town of Rainier, Oregon has a nice little park with this memorial to the
2,954 innocent victims of a few deranged Muslims on 9.11.2001. Also a flag pole
flying a POW-MIA flag. Quite a contrast to the attitudes in Eugene. There are
certainly pockets of "real Americans" close to home and for that I am thankful.

Here's a story that the freedom hating Liberal media loves and is going viral.
I'll say up front that there are "facts" in this story that just don't make any
sense so I will be doing a little research to find out what really happened.
I am always suspicious of God-like proclamations by people like New York State
Troopers who declare that "The Biker would have survived the crash had he been
wearing a helmet. I'm also wondering how someone could fishtail and crash in a
well organized protest rally run *AND* go over the handlebars. Fishtailing
is common on Harley Davidsons when you lock up the rear wheel. Going over
the handlebars happens when you T-bone a car that pulls out in front of you.

I've contacted the Coordinator for ABATE of New York to get the rest of this story
that I will publish here. In the meantime, here's the State Police provided pablum that's
been given to the press who apparently saw no need to question or do any investigative
on.

July 3, 2011
Town of Onondaga, NY: A Parish man who was participating in a motorcycle helmet protest
ride was killed this afternoon when he went over the handlebars of his motorcycle and
injured his head on the pavement, state police said.

Philip A. Contos, 55, of 45 East St., Parish, was not wearing a helmet while driving a
1983 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Route 11 in Onondaga with a large group of
other motorcyclists, troopers said. About 1:30 p.m., troopers said, Contos hit his
brakes, the motorcycle fishtailed and went out of control and Contos went over the
handlebars. Contos was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he was pronounced
dead, troopers said. Evidence at the scene and information from the attending physician
indicate Contos would have survived if he had been wearing a Department of Transportation
approved helmet, troopers said. The protest in which Contos was riding was organized by
American Bikers Aimed Towards Education, Trooper Jack Keller said.
